About us
LeisureWell.ca is a recreation therapy practice founded by Fernanda Cunha, a Brazilian jazz singer with over 25 years of career performing at the most important jazz festivals such as Vancouver Jazz Festival, Wien Jazz Festival (Austria), Edmonton Jazzz festival, etc.
She is also a certified Recreation Therapist. Fernanda brings over four years of experience working in long-term care (LTC), where she currently serves as a Director of Programs. Alongside her leadership role, she operates her private practice, offering musical performances/ concerts in nursing homes all over Ontario. Her background in music and formal education in Recreation Therapy uniquely position her to deliver high-quality, therapeutic musical experiences that promote emotional, cognitive, social and spiritual well-being
